And next time pick a better filley! As far as I am concerned there were three candidates left in this race for the White House, two very war minded and the third, a dark horse may well win it. Should we 'hope' he is less war minded? Better we should have picked a stud or a mare who had the guts to say the war is wrong--but we the people like to bet on looks not courage. –start a new women’s movement—–

My dictonary defines viable as being alive and capable of thriving. Would that not be applied to all candidates for all offices? Would that not apply to, perhaps Liz Dole--a candidate past, of a party I wish had passed? My personal preference is not for a candidate, male or female who is touting their 'war ready' credentials--like a 3 am phone call and that proves a candidate is ready on day one, because a 'bomb who list' is at the bedside, like touting being a gun fan from early childhood, learned to shoot and killed a duck. My personal preference, for pRes anyway, is for someone who recognizes that the vote to give a sociapathic guy the path to starting an aggressive war based on lies and deception is ---at least---wrong. Failure to recognize that is tantamount to admiting a like of war, a like of obliterating, a like of death and distruction. How many women, or men for that matter, would gladly jump into the Bundy V.W. knowing that he was a sociapathic killer and that by doing so their life expectancy dropped to zero? How many would thing he was 'charming'? How many would do a 'Nader' circe 2000 on a rival so they could perhaps benefit from the fallout? First “viable’ woman candidate?

Duplicitous, hypocritical, increasingly irrelevant newspaper. Duh. Obama had been EXPECTED to win in NC. He himself stated Indiana was the more important of the two, that if he took that race, that would make his nomination nearly assured. Now, on the morning after, when Hillary took Indiana (albeit by a hair), all of a sudden this HUGE Obama win in the state he should have won anyhow has become the nail in her coffin. The sexism and crass Clinton-hating that continues to spew out of the mouth of the MSM and left blogosphere beast is more than enough to make one gag. This is turning into a wretched, wretched life in America. Pitting race against gender. WITHIN the Democratic Party. And now hearing the Clinton side threaten to put McShame in the White House if Obama "takes" the nomination... and the Obamaites threatening to cause mass chaos at the Convention and elsewhere if Hillary "steals" it away from him. What are we all thinking???? Bush sits laughing. Cheney sits laughing. $$$ stays in the hands of the monied. And now we can look forward to more of the same of what we've been made to endure these last two terms -- if not worse -- when a deceitful, flip-flopping, war-itchy, discredited in his own home state of Arizona "senator" brings the vans up to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. Oh, yes... and at 3 am, we may expect a world-shaking temper tantrum just as he answers that "red phone." I don't like sounding so melodramatic, but this is the only response I feel capable of at the moment. Yes, by all means, back Hillary to the last. I personally believe she is the best qualified of the three, although not the best qualified of any candidate who might have run. Despite her baggage and Bill's presence, she has the most inside knowledge, world experience, and political skill to lead the country for at least the next four. As well, she has been shown the stronger opponent in the general. It needn't be an "either, or" situation, whereby a race of people must sit at the back of the bus while an uppity female sits in the front with all the suffragettes of all time. The table should be large enough for all. What we need is clear thinking, willingness to forgive, compassion, and determination to take back our nation and be part of the ongoing solution to her healing, not feeders into her multitude of problems. Can we be adult enough, brave enough, courages enough to answer the call? You’d expect a headline touting “commanding” victory for Obama from the New York Times.
