Remember when we had to nominate Obama . . .
19-Jun-10
. . . because the right COULDN’T attack him?
Rep. Darrell Issa, the conservative firebrand whose specialty is lobbing corruption allegations at the Obama White House, is making plans to hire dozens of subpoena-wielding investigators if Republicans win the House this fall…
Issa has told Republican leadership that if he becomes chairman [of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee], he wants to roughly double his staff from 40 to between 70 and 80. And he is not subtle about what that means for President Barack Obama.
But see, the only reason the right attacked Bill Clinton was because Bill Clinton deserved the attacks. I know because the Obamabots told me so. And the fools tried to convince me that the right could never attack Obama.
Remember when I said that Republicans helped nominate and elect Obama so that they could blame all of George Bush’s failures on him? (Read this post all the way down through the update.)
It’s working.
