Aides tell POLITICO that President Barack Obama will warn Senate Democrats in a White House meeting today that this is the “last chance” to pass comprehensive reform — that if it fails now, no other president will attempt it.

Sorry to inform you, Mr. Prez, but “reform” has already failed. And telling senators that this is the last chance to pass reform will only encourage the obstructionists.

Where are all those skills you claimed to have that brought people together to pass legislation?

What Obama was used to was Illinois, where Democrats and Republicans work together to rape the public. That’s why it’s called The Combine. In the national arena, the Republicans want to do the raping all by themselves, excluding the Democrats.

So-called progressives took a monumental gamble, and because of it have a monumental failure on their hands. And we all have to suffer for their failure.
